TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Race to be held from approximately 550 kilometres to Sydney.
  2. Race to be conducted under the rules of the Central Cumberland Racing Pigeon Federation.
  3. Any protest to the race results will be managed and decided by the Sydney Gold Ring Race management committee.
  4. Any protest to the results must be lodged with seven days of the race.
  5. Nil refunds. If not racing. Reallocation of rings permitted.
  6. Sydney Gold Ring Race to be liberated with the Central Cumberland Racing Pigeon Federation.
  7. No limit on Sydney Gold Ring purchases.
  8. For every two Sydney Gold Rings purchase, a spare ring is provided.
  9. Each purchased Sydney Gold Ring will cost $100 each.
  10. Open to be race by Central Cumberland Racing Pigeon Federation fliers.
  11. Interstate & Regional breeders are encouraged to purchase rings & assign a trainer to compete in the Sydney Gold Ring Race.
  12. Fliers can only enter in the race the number of rings that were originally purchased. Example if you purchase two Sydney Gold Rings & receive your additional spare ring and have all three pigeons available to compete on basket night for the Sydney Gold Ring Race the flier will have to nominate which two pigeons will be entered in the race.
  13. All pigeons competing in the Sydney Gold Ring Race must carry the Sydney Gold Ring life ring.
  14. Entry basketing sheets for the Sydney Gold Ring Race must be copied signed by flier and secretary of flier’s club. Then provided to the Central Cumberland Federation Secretary on the night of basketing.
  15. All Sydney Gold Ring Race entries must be nominated on the race sheet with an additional note of SGR beside the race bird.
  16. If more pigeons are entered to the race than entitled without the additional note SGR beside those competing, we will assume that the pigeons from the top of the basketing list down will be the first entry to the race.
  17. There will be a total of 32 prizes in the Sydney Gold Ring Race. First prize will be 30% of the total ring sales, including the value of the championship gold ring, and minus a 10% administration fee.
  18. All prizes will be awarded to the purchaser of the Sydney Gold Rings. Any agreement to share the prize must be managed by the purchaser of the Sydney Gold Rings.
  19. A total of 10% of all ring sales will go towards Administration fees.
  20. All eligible Sydney Gold Ring pigeons entered in the race can compete for all 32 prizes.
  21. All prizes will be distributed two weeks after the race has been completed.
  22. All Sydney Gold Rings that are won as a prize are eligible to compete in the Sydney Gold Ring Race.
  23. To be eligible to compete for the bonus regional or interstate prize and prize rings, the rings must be directly purchased by the breeder whose loft resides outside of the Central Cumberland Federation boundary. Prize money and prize rings will be awarded directly to the regional or interstate breeder who wins the highest prize in the top 30 in the race.
  24. Jackpot prize. First yearling SGR rung bird to top the CCF federation at any scheduled race throughout the year. Only one jackpot prize per year. Prize will be 5% of the total prize money. Prize will jackpot to the following year if not won. Jackpot prize money to be split 50% flier, 50% owner.
